Shoals Duo

Harpist Martino Panizza and cellist Alice Purton founded the Shoals Duo in September 2011 with the idea of widening the repertoire for this unusual combination, promoting and producing new music.

They were featured in a post of contemporary music blogger Tim Rutherford - Johnson, and they have been awarded at the Battle of the Bands, a new music competition signed NonClassical.

Future projects include a collaboration with Distractfold Ensemble in London.

Attacca Trio
Ana de la Vega (flute), Ruth Gibson (viola), and Martino Panizza join their expertise as chamber musicians and soloists to create a dynamic ensemble performing traditional classical repertoire as Debussy Sonate en trio, and commissioning new works (Laurence Osborn composed for them Attacca, inspiring the name of the ensemble).
